My husband and I were married for 8 years when we realized we could not have children on
our own. We quickly discovered that the adoption process is overwhelming emotionally and
financially. We had looked into a few agencies and the possibility of an international
adoption but realized that no other agency was as trustworthy and helpful as Catholic
Charities.
Catholic Charities reached out to us. It was also there for a young mother and her
unborn child, who with God's grace chose life. As a result, we are now the proud parents
of a beautiful one-year-old daughter. We believe that Catholic Charities, which reaches
out to the entire community, is the practical application of Christ in our world.
