Our Mission Statement
Saint Stephen's Parish
is a Catholic Faith Community
called by God through Baptism.
Our mission is
to live the Gospel
by loving and serving
all our brothers and sisters.
PARISH MINISTRIES and AREAS OF SERVICE
ALTAR & ROSARY SOCIETY:
Women of the parish who serve the needs of their community.
Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month
at 8:00pm in the school.
ALTAR SERVERS:
Young people who assist at liturgical celebrations.
ART & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE:
Group that prepares the Church artistically for liturgical seasons.
MUSIC MINISTRY:
A group of parishioners who sing for special liturgical functions.
Practices are held on Thursday evenings at 7:30pm.
C.C.D. RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION:
A program which provides education and formation to assist
parents in meeting the spiritual needs of children.
FINANCE COMMITTEE:
Lay group who assist in the financial planning of the parish.
LAY ADVISORY BOARD:
A group of school parishioners who assist in the developing
of academically related ideas.
LECTORS:
Men and women who proclaim God's word at Mass
and other liturgical celebrations.
WORSHIP COMMITTEE:
A coordination of various liturgical committees to provide
a complete liturgical and spiritual life for the parish.
MINISTERS OF HOSPITALITY:
People who greet parishioners at Sunday liturgies and other
functions and people who tend to the many duties of ushering.
PARENT-TEACHERS ASSOCIATION (P.T.A.):
Parents who help maintain an excellent school.
PASTORAL COUNCIL:
A lay group elected to aid the pastor in parish matters.
Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month.
R.C.I.A.:
A group of parishioners helping with the process of preparing
and welcoming new members into the Catholic Church.
ST. STEPHEN'S ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION:
A group of adults and young people who participate in
sports, programs and related activities.
ST. STEPHEN'S PRAYER GROUP:
A group that shares the Good News in song and prayer.
Meetings are held "most" Thursday afternoons.
ST. STEPHEN SCHOOL:
A quality education is offered to children from pre-kindergarten
to eighth grade in an academic environment which pursues
excellence through its fully accredited staff.

St. Stephen’s Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul
is now operational and we’ve set up a local answering service
to receive calls for assistance.
