"The vocation of the layperson in the Church is exactly that, it is a
vocation. It is a call by Almighty God given to each of the baptized to
paricipate fully in the life of the Church in a special way from the
layperson's position in the world. The layperson's first call is to live in
the world and transform it -- to make it ready to accept the message of Jesus,
which is proclaimed by the Church." |
